All Day I Drive

Sit back and get ready to experience the punchy, melodic rock of All Day I-Drive. The five members of All Day I-Drive are all former members of some of the most popular and influential bands ever to come out of the rich and expansive Austin music scene. The five had known each other for a number of years, even shared the same bill at a gig or two in their respective bands. All through those years, the guys had always talked about getting together to "see what can happen", but due to crazy schedules, jobs, etc., they never quite found the time. That all came to an end in February of 2004, when guitarist Bruce Castleberry and bassist Jai Blanco, dissatisfied with their current project, decided to pen a few tunes with a more refined, traditional rock approach. The chemistry was instant, and the two set off to find the three missing ingredients to bring this "sound” to life. Vocalist Shawn Smith was another old friend of the guys, who himself had quite an impressive resume' in addition to his amazing vocal ability. Shawn jumped onboard immediately. Next to join was guitarist Marc Harbison. Marc and Bruce realized quickly they were sharing a brain when it came to all things guitar.24 hours later, drummer Jeff Hartsough was hired after a mind-blowing audition, completing the lineup. The band released their debut album in March '05, produced by Tim Gerron (Bjork, Montell Jordan, David Bowie) and mastered by Stephen Marcussen (Collective Soul, Stone Temple Pilots) to rave reviews regionally and nationally .Currently, All Day I-Drive is in pre-production for their follow-up album, as well as booking a national tour.
