Mitchell Westmoreland

Mitchell composes original music for film and media. His background in jazz and orchestral composition as well as music theory contributes greatly to his ability to write in a diverse and eclectic array of styles. He has an exceptional grasp of non-traditional harmony,non-traditional rhythm and ethnic styles.

In addition to his film scoring experience, Mitchell earned a degree in music from the renowned University of North Texas School of Music and has studied game audio at Berklee College of Music. He understands the challenges and complexity of interactive audio and has an intuitive skill that helps film makers better deliver their message, tell their story, and connect on a subconscious level with their audience.

Mitchell is also an active drummer in and around Austin. He's currently in the band, 'Sunny Mad'.
