Originally from Lampasas, TX, Jason is a Texas fiddle man! Influenced by Bob Wills, Johnny Gimble, George Strait, Ray Price, Johnny Bush, Darrell McCall and many more, he currently performs with Asleep at the Wheel. Jason also plays guitar, mandolin, steel guitar & bass and has worked on projects with Suzy Bogguss, Dale Watson, Gary P. Nunn, Aaron Watson & Riders In The Sky to name a few.

Jason and AATW are also in "A Ride With Bob," The Bob Wills Musical which according to Liz Smith of the New York Post is, "The most entertaining night in Texas."
His favorite festivals are Spring Ho in Lampasas, TX & The Rattlesnake Jubilee in Lometa, TX
