Damesviolet

Damesviolet began in October of '97 when brothers Beaux and Zak Loy, having recently moved to Austin from their hometown of Dinero, TX, went into the studio to cut demos with producer Mark Hallman. Shortly after, the brothers teamed up with longtime friend Evan Huston and then Austin native Tommy Roalson to complete the band's lineup.

Nonstop rehearsing paid off for the band, landing them gigs at many of Austin's top venues, including the Austin Music Hall and La Zona Rosa. After hearing the band once, Artist Manager Mark Proct (Jimmie Vaughan, The ARC Angels, Storyville, Vallejo) became an instant fan, taking the band under his management wing.

They have gained the respect of the Texas music community and have shared the stage with the likes of The Black Crowes, Blues Traveler, Lit, Dishwalla, Blue October, Bush, Days of the New, Edwin McCain, Avril Lavigne, and many more.
